The Davidson Optronics D614-104 Penta Prism is also known as an Optical Square. The BK-7 Penta Prism takes the incoming collimated beam ( which may be out of its normal plane by as much as 5 degrees) and re-orients it accurately by 90 degrees. Davidson guarantees an accuracy of +/- 3 arc seconds on these Optical Squares. It has lapped pads to precisely mount it or can be used with a threaded post to mount in a spindle. This model of the D-614 has a larger aperture- 1-3/4" X 1-7/8"- for applications that need it. In excellent condition and in their factory mahogany box. We now can get these Calibrated at additional cost. No longer manufactured by Davidson....so used is the only choice! We have one that is 0.6 arc seconds!
